DeNA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomoko Namba; hereinafter referred to as DeNA) announced its participation in the executive committee for "KAWASAKI FESTIVAL 2026," an urban festival to be held for the first time in the Kawasaki Station area on Sunday, November 1, 2026, and Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (Holiday). DeNA will drive brand development, content design, and planning/operation for the festival.
This initiative is part of the "Kawasaki Arena-City Project," a project jointly promoted by DeNA and Keikyu Corporation (Location: Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa; President: Yukihiro Kawamata; hereinafter referred to as Keikyu Electric Railway) at a site adjacent to Keikyu Kawasaki Station. This project aims to create a town centered around the construction of a complex entertainment facility and its surrounding area. The "Kawasaki Arena-City Project" has set "Development of Content to Energize the City" as one of its key objectives. Following the planned opening of the Arena City in 2030, the goal is to attract 3.3 million visitors annually through home games for the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, sports, and live entertainment performances such as dance, along with town development. As a major measure to achieve this, DeNA will participate in the executive committee of the new urban festival "KAWASAKI FESTIVAL 2026," launched by the public and private sectors, to work on creating new vibrancy in the city in anticipation of the Arena City's opening.
*1 The "Kawasaki Arena-City Project" is engaged in town development centered on the arena and its surrounding areas, with three key objectives: "Arena City Development in Harmony with the City," "Development of Content to Energize the City," and "Sustainable City Development (Kawasaki 2050 Model)."
Background
DeNA has deepened its collaboration with the local community in Kawasaki, starting with its assumption of club operations for the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in 2018, using sports as a catalyst. In 2025, DeNA was selected for the public proposal "Outsourcing Services for Branding and Event Planning and Execution Utilizing the 100th Anniversary of Kawasaki City's Incorporation" by Kawasaki City. In this role, DeNA worked on designing a common theme to connect events held in the Kawasaki Station area, launching the music live event "LIVE STOCK - KAWASAKI MUSIC JOURNEY - ", and planning/operating measures to encourage city exploration.
For "KAWASAKI FESTIVAL 2026," to be held for the first time this year, DeNA will combine its established foundation of collaboration with local communities and government with its expertise in sports and live entertainment operations. Together with Kawasaki City, Keikyu Electric Railway, and other participating companies and organizations on the executive committee, DeNA will promote the launch of this festival.

This year, the event will take place at two contrasting venues: "CLUB CITTA'", a large live hall within the entertainment district "La Cittadella," located about a 5-minute walk from the east exit of JR Kawasaki Station, which has led youth culture as a pioneer of domestic live halls; and "Muzakawasaki Symphony Hall," a classical hall boasting world-class acoustics located in front of the west exit of JR Kawasaki Station. The festival will invite artists from various generations and genres to offer a unique musical experience.
