Sabae JAM Festival 2026: Third Wave of Artists & Daily Lineup Announced! Takahashi Yu, EGO-WRAPPIN' to Perform. Second Pre-sale, Local Tickets, and Furusato Nozei Rewards Now Available!

The festival takes place at Nishiyama Park in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture—a symbolic landmark and one of Japan's 'Top 100 Historical Parks.' Following the success of the inaugural 'Sabae JAZZ Festival 2025,' the event relaunches in 2026 as the 'Sabae JAM Festival,' marking a new beginning.

Centered on the concept of 'an independent, Sabae-style music festival rooted in local culture,' the event is planned and operated by local residents from diverse backgrounds. By blending music across genres with deeply rooted local culture, it aims to showcase a unique cultural scene that only Sabae can offer, creating a one-of-a-kind festival experience.

The newly announced performers include Takahashi Yu, beloved for his heartfelt lyrics and powerful live performances; EGO-WRAPPIN', acclaimed internationally for their one-of-a-kind groove; T字路s, captivating audiences with soulful vocals and warm atmospheres; Hamasaki Miko, known as the 'diva of shopping malls' and a heart-touching singer; MASH String Ensemble, offering a unique interpretation of Gypsy jazz; JABBERLOOP, an instrumental jazz band active both domestically and internationally; and local acts from Fukui, including The New Beads, Takefu Commercial High School Band, and Sabae High School Band.

Additionally, the long-awaited daily lineup has been revealed. Each day features a distinct roster of artists, offering diverse musical experiences against the scenic backdrop of Nishiyama Park.

Beyond live music, the festival will feature food and drink vendors, markets, and experiential content. During the event, the highly popular 'Craft Beer Forest in Nishiyama Park' will return to the area in front of the park. Craft breweries from across Japan will gather, each showcasing their signature brews. Festival attendees, local residents, and tourists alike can drop by freely to enjoy a wide variety of craft beers and gourmet food.

Notably, the 'Craft Beer Forest in Nishiyama Park' is free to enter. While tickets are required for the music performance area, the craft beer event is open to all, ensuring a vibrant two-day atmosphere around Nishiyama Park.

Furthermore, the Nishiyama Zoo, located within the park, will offer free admission. Meeting the adorable red pandas is one of the festival’s major highlights. The event delivers a unique festival experience where nature, music, food, and relaxation come together.

Tickets for the festival are also available as return gifts through Sabae City’s furusato nozei (hometown tax) program, enabling nationwide participation via tax donations.
