Digital Entertainment Asset Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and Chairman: Naoto Yoshida; Representative Director and President: Kozo Yamada; hereinafter "DEA"), together with Growth Ring Grid Pte. Ltd. (Headquarters: Singapore; Representative Directors and Presidents: Kazuki Kito, Fumi Fukuda; hereinafter "GRG"), which develops and operates the citizen-participation social contribution game "PicTrée" (hereinafter "PicTrée"), will exhibit at the "Local Government Infrastructure Maintenance and Aging Countermeasures Exhibition" within "Local Government & Public Week 2026," to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from May 13 (Wednesday) to 15 (Friday), 2026.

At this exhibition, we will introduce solutions that accelerate administrative DX and regional revitalization, focusing on "PicTrée," which solves infrastructure maintenance challenges faced by local governments and companies through citizen-participation gamification, and "GLOCAL AGENTS – Local Secret Agents," which promotes regional revitalization.

◼️ Background of Exhibition

Currently, many local governments face increasing burdens in maintaining and inspecting public infrastructure, including utility poles, with financial and labor shortages posing a critical challenge.

DEA and GRG have leveraged their accumulated gamification expertise to build a system where citizens can enjoy participating in infrastructure inspections. Through this exhibition, we propose a new problem-solving method to local governments nationwide that balances cost reduction with fostering citizens' attachment to their region (civic pride). Furthermore, with an eye towards collaboration with the "Furusato Resident Registration System" promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, we will present a new regional revitalization model that visualizes and expands the "related population" through gamification. We aim to conduct concrete demonstration experiments and project planning for the next fiscal year's budget through business negotiations at this event.

◼️ Main Exhibits

At our booth (Exhibition Booth: G12-47), we will offer demonstrations of the following services and consultations on specific implementation plans (such as demonstration experiments) for local governments.

1. Citizen-Participation Social Contribution Game "PicTrée"

This is a free game where users take photos of infrastructure facilities such as utility poles and manholes with their smartphones and compete in teams based on the number and distance. Through gamification, it allows participation in infrastructure preservation and regional tourism, gaining support from many stakeholders, including infrastructure operators and local governments. (Achievements as of February 2026: Over 100,000 downloads, approximately 2 million photos taken cumulatively)

2. GLOCAL AGENTS – Local Secret Agents

This is a "Region x Gamification Platform" that generates spontaneous word-of-mouth and dissemination by activating missions and mobilizing enthusiastic "agents." It has already been implemented in Hakodate City, Hokkaido; Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; and Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. 150 participants from 8 countries beyond Japan have participated, executing 8,629 missions, realizing a new form of cross-border regional contribution.

◼️ What is Local Government & Public Week? | https://www.publicweek.jp/ja-jp.html

A comprehensive exhibition consisting of six specialized exhibitions for local governments and public sectors. Local government heads and DX managers from all over Japan gather to compare and consider products and services that lead to "livable town development," "revitalization," and "operational efficiency," and to learn about the latest trends, making it one of Japan's largest public business negotiation and information gathering venues.

◼️ What is the Furusato Resident Registration System? | https://www.soumu.go.jp/main_content/001010766.pdf

This is a policy by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications aimed at quantitatively expanding and qualitatively improving the "related population" – people who continuously engage with specific regions – in a depopulating society, where urban and rural areas complement each other. By registering for this system, users can gain various lifestyle benefits, such as renewing their driver's license outside their registered address (via proxy renewal), priority use of temporary childcare, regional domestic study abroad, and obtaining garage certificates. "PicTrée" and "GLOCAL AGENTS – Local Secret Agents" serve as digital platforms that accelerate the "continuous relationship building with regions" aimed at by this system, through mechanisms that allow enjoyable participation in solving regional issues.
