The POP-UP EVENT Returns to Hankyu Men's Osaka: OPEN STUDIO Curates T-Shirts and Goods Celebrating 90s Alternative Rock, Photography, and Art

From Wednesday, July 15, 2026, to Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the select shop FREAK’S STORE (Freaks Store) will host a curated pop-up event at the Main Stage on the 1st floor of Hankyu Men's Osaka. The event is organized by OPEN STUDIO (Open Studio), the gallery space attached to FREAK’S STORE Shibuya, the flagship store of the brand. This time, three new designs from SOUNDGARDEN will be added and released exclusively at Hankyu Men's Osaka ahead of wider availability. Additionally, a wide range of items from legendary label SUB POP and other products making their Kansai debut will be available.

Authentic 90s Printable Tee Body – Feels Like Vintage American Streetwear

The items in this collection use a specially developed T-shirt body that faithfully recreates the look and feel of 90s printable tees. Made from 100% U.S.-grown cotton and constructed with a tubular (not side-seamed) body for an authentic vintage silhouette.

Neck and armhole seams are finished with overlock stitching, a common feature in original 90s tees, ensuring no visible thread on the outside.

Sleeves and hems use chain stitching instead of standard double-needle stitching, a technique requiring skilled craftsmanship.

All garments are sewn in Japan.

The fit reflects American laundry culture—slightly shorter in length due to dryer shrinkage, with a wide, boxy silhouette that stretches horizontally thanks to the tubular construction.
