Notice of Membership in the Fintech Association of Japan

Datachain, Inc. (Representative Director: Tetsushi Hisada; hereinafter "Datachain") is pleased to announce that it has joined the Fintech Association of Japan (Chairman: Takashi Okita; hereinafter "Fintech Association") as a corporate member.

Since its founding in 2018, Datachain has been promoting research and development to solve protocol-level challenges in blockchain technology. In 2022, the company began full-scale development of its stablecoin business and has been advancing projects such as "Project Pax," an international remittance infrastructure project in collaboration with three major Japanese banks, Swift, and Progmat. Furthermore, in 2025, the company will launch a tokenized deposit-related business, accelerating its growth as a "company providing infrastructure for the on-chain finance era" that covers both the stablecoin and tokenized deposit sectors.

As the era of on-chain finance truly arrives, the digital currency sector—including the stablecoins and tokenized deposits we are working on—represents a critical intersection between existing financial infrastructure and new technology. Additionally, our enterprise Web3 wallet, scheduled for launch this spring, and our privacy infrastructure for obscuring transactions on the blockchain are essential for the secure use of these digital currencies. By joining the Fintech Association, we will leverage these technical assets and insights to engage in dialogue and collaboration with fellow member companies, striving to jointly promote innovation in on-chain finance, with a focus on the digital currency sector.
