Damiani Unveils 'Arte Maestra' High Jewelry Collection at Lake Como, Italy

Renowned worldwide for its refined Made-in-Italy jewelry and still family-owned since its founding, Damiani unveiled its new high jewelry collection 'Arte Maestra' on Thursday, June 11, at Lake Como in Italy. This new collection, celebrating the fusion of talent and exceptional craftsmanship, made its debut on the magnificent stage of Villa Pliniana, a 16th-century historic residence overlooking Lake Como.

Each piece in 'ARTE MAESTRA' draws inspiration from the creative impulse of great masters in art history who transformed intuition into immortal masterpieces. The creative process passed from artist to artisan is supported by knowledge, exceptional skill, and unwavering dedication. Each resulting jewel is a realized idea, meticulously crafted down to the finest detail to achieve perfect harmony of light, form, and movement.

The collection was inspired by a deep exploration of elements characterizing eight artistic masterpieces: the captivating allure of Caravaggio’s 'Medusa'¹, the joyful awakening of nature depicted in Botticelli’s 'Primavera'¹, the primal power embodied in Hokusai’s 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa'², the meditative stillness of Jeong Seon’s 'Autumn Day, Leisured Cat'³, the disciplined yet rich expressiveness of Wassily Kandinsky’s 'Gray Form'⁴, the rapturous longing conveyed in Gustav Klimt’s 'The Kiss'⁵, the infinite radiance of light in Claude Monet’s 'Water Lilies'⁶, and the vibrant, textured vitality of Vincent van Gogh’s 'Sunflowers'⁴.

Following the unveiling, an exclusive event was held. Attendees included Japanese actress and model Erina Ikuta, South Korean actress Moon Ga-young, Italian top model Mariacarla Boscono, Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini, actor Stefano Accorsi, actresses Elena Sofia Ricci and Anna Valle, social media influencer Chiara Ferragni, and model Ljuba Hatton.

Achille Lauro, the Italian singer-songwriter, also made an appearance, wearing the 'Malìa' necklace inspired by Caravaggio’s iconic 'Medusa,' and performed several of his hit songs, captivating the audience.
