DAMDAM (ダムダム), a clean skincare brand born from Japanese craftsmanship and natural ingredients, will host a solo exhibition 'Memory Tones' by illustrator Shiomi Wada at the 'DAMDAM Chibi Gallery' in Omotesando, Tokyo, starting from April 16, 2026 (Thursday).

'Memory Tones' Weaving Memories of Travel

'DAMDAM Chibi Gallery' introduces artists encountered by DAMDAM founders Giselle Go and Philippe Terrien during their travels across Japan and the world. This time, we welcome illustrator/painter Shiomi Wada, who is supported for her unique nuances and free brushwork. The theme of this exhibition is 'Memory Tones.' She has sublimated the colors, atmosphere, and memorable scenes she experienced during her trip to Mexico into a fresh collection of works, including new pieces.

[Artist in Residence Event] A Special One-of-a-Kind Gift Experience During the exhibition period, on Shiomi Wada's in-residence days, customers who purchase over 10,000 yen (excluding tax) at DAMDAM Omotesando store will be offered a special drawing content.

Postcard Drawing As a limited-time content on in-residence days, we will accept drawings on original postcards. Each card, featuring animal motifs or other requests drawn by Shiomi Wada, makes a perfect gift for loved ones. We propose an experience of bringing art into daily life along with skincare items.

Drawing on Products Packages of DAMDAM's iconic 'Mochimochi Luminous Cream' and other products will be transformed into art pieces. This initiative, where illustrations are drawn directly onto products, offers a unique gift experience that turns daily skincare into a more cherished time.

Shiomi Wada Born in Tokyo. After holding her first solo exhibition in 2017, she is currently active as an illustrator/painter based in Tokyo. She is active in a wide range of media such as advertising, apparel, and magazines, and her style, which captures everyday moments from a unique perspective, has attracted attention.
