DAMBO LLC, in collaboration with the 5th-grade class of Shibuya Ward Uehara Elementary School, has been working on a product development project utilizing inquiry-based learning time for approximately one year, starting in May 2025. As a result, they have completed the 'Wooper Light,' a room lamp inspired by the endangered axolotl, and will hold a results presentation event on Sunday, April 5, 2026. In this project, children experienced the entire process from concept design to product development, sales, and donation as a series of learning opportunities. The project involved all approximately 70 students in the 5th grade, who took on various roles to bring a single product to life. They considered not only what to create, but why, who it is for, and what meaning it should hold. They managed the development process themselves, including product and package design. The project was supported by expert supervision to ensure both educational quality and product precision. The 'Wooper Light' is priced at 2,800 yen (tax included), and pre-orders will be accepted at the event.
