Daimaru Tokyo Store will host its first-ever free-roaming XR horror attraction, "Meikai Department Store ~The Infinite Department Store Labyrinth Where Endless Memories Wander~," from Thursday, July 16, 2026, to Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (National Holiday).

This event offers a new entertainment experience by blending an original story set in a department store with XR technology. By donning a head-mounted display, participants will enter the world of the story and aim to escape from the labyrinth of "Meikai Department Store," a mysterious place where endless memories wander. In this space where reality and virtual reality merge, you can enjoy a horror experience as you overcome successive terrors and mysteries.

Original Story Set in a Department Store

"When you ride the employee elevator late at night, you get pulled into another world--"

This is a whispered urban legend about a department store. As a new night security guard, you board the employee elevator late at night for a top-secret mission to investigate "spatial anomalies." However, the space suddenly distorts, and you arrive on a floor that shouldn't exist. This is "Meikai Department Store," where people's memories loop infinitely with growing madness. The sales floors are eerily nostalgic, and countless mannequins approach from the darkness. Is this reality, or a nightmare? Relying only on the light of the security flashlight you hold, you attempt to escape this world. Can you repel the approaching apparitions and return safely from the infinite labyrinth?

● Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Last entry 7:45 PM)

● Admission Fee: 2,000 yen (tax included)

* All days require timed entry. Advance tickets will be sold from Wednesday, July 1, 2026, via Lawson Ticket. Same-day tickets will be sold at the venue if available.

* Children under 7 years old are not permitted. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or older.

● Maximum Participants: Up to 4 people (1 group)

● Experience Duration: Approximately 15 minutes (Experience: approx. 10 minutes + Preparation: approx. 5 minutes)
