Dahua Technology Announces 'MultiVision 2.0' with Expanded Intelligent Surveillance Capabilities

Dahua Technology, a world-leading video-centric AIoT solution and service provider, has announced the upgraded multi-lens surveillance portfolio 'MultiVision 2.0', designed to address increasingly complex security needs. By combining wider surveillance coverage, integration between panorama and details, the Xinghan vision model, and easier installation, it achieves more comprehensive, accurate, and efficient monitoring in various scenarios.

Wider Coverage: Addressing Complex Surveillance Scenarios MultiVision 2.0 offers flexible options for various environments, including wide-area horizontal, vertical, and multi-directional surveillance. Panoramic stitching technology provides seamless, wide-area footage, and the multi-lens design allows a single device to cover multiple directions, reducing blind spots and eliminating the need for multiple separate cameras.

The IPC-MFW7459K2 series, a key product in this field, realizes horizontal and vertical monitoring within a single device. Its dual-site architecture is ideal for applications requiring high surveillance performance, such as transportation hubs, roads, and entrances.

Clearer Images: Integration of Panorama and Details MultiVision 2.0 enables linkage monitoring between panorama and detail channels. In the SDT5X2425-4Z4-FA, the panoramic channel identifies the object and its movement, while the detail channel quickly zooms in to capture clearer evidence. Lightning Focus technology achieves high-speed zoom and focus in 0.5 seconds, while Dynamic Acceleration technology automatically adjusts PTZ rotation speed according to object movement.

The X-Spans series upgrades linkage tracking to efficiently monitor objects, keeping the target centered. Furthermore, the new Target Priority technology enables the detail channel to automatically switch to new targets, preventing critical events from being missed in scenarios with multiple targets.

Smarter Vision: Enhanced AI Analysis with Xinghan Vision Model Equipped with the Dahua Xinghan vision model, MultiVision 2.0 demonstrates stronger AI performance in perimeter protection, animal detection, tracking, and crowd management. The long-range perimeter security function supports a detection distance of up to 140 meters during the day and achieves 98% daytime accuracy under standard testing conditions.

It also supports the detection of over 10 animal types, Wiz Tracking for more reliable tracking in occluded or complex scenes, and congestion mapping, which can detect up to 5,000 people simultaneously.

Simplified Deployment: Easier Installation and Adjustment MultiVision 2.0 is also designed for simplified deployment. Features such as panoramic channel adjustment in the SDT4E and SDT6E series allow installers to fine-tune the panoramic field of view during setup.

The electric PTRZ developed for multi-directional shooting products adopts advanced multi-axis lens adjustment technology, allowing remote lens operation for efficient camera installation. This technology, adopted in the IPC-PDBW8xx59-B360-E5/E4(-ATC) series, significantly reduces onsite workload, lowers labor costs, and facilitates subsequent maintenance.
