WingArc1st Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Jun Tanaka; hereinafter 'WingArc') and Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuji Kitamura; hereinafter 'Cybertrust') have agreed to collaborate on promoting the domestic adoption of 'trust services'—represented by e-seals and electronic signatures—and building a digital trust infrastructure compatible with the AI era. Through this collaboration, the companies will technically guarantee the authenticity of various documents digitized in business transactions, preventing impersonation and tampering, and ensuring secure data distribution as a prerequisite for AI-driven automated analysis and data processing. Both companies aim to achieve both legal reliability and operational efficiency in the complete paperless transition of B2B transactions, and contribute to the realization of an advanced data-utilization society in the AI era by building a trust infrastructure that complies with global standards. [Background of Collaboration] While the digitalization of B2B transactions and DX are accelerating, business automation using AI, including generative AI, is advancing rapidly. In an era where AI processes vast amounts of data at high speed and makes autonomous decisions, technically proving the authenticity of data and preventing impersonation and tampering have become essential conditions for the safe use of AI. Furthermore, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is preparing to launch an accreditation system for certification authorities issuing e-seal certificates for secure data distribution, following the establishment of the 'Regulations on Certification Services for e-Seals' in March 2025. [Initiatives of Both Companies] WingArc provides the 'Trustee Timestamp' service, a Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications-certified timestamp service that proves the issuance and existence time of electronic documents, as well as digital document platforms. Cybertrust provides the 'iTrust Remote Signature Service' for long-term authenticity of electronic documents and 'iTrust e-Seal Certificates' issued only to strictly vetted organizations. Both companies will leverage their respective technologies, expertise, and services to promote a digital trust infrastructure that balances 'secure data handling' and 'advanced automation' in the AI era. Specifically, they aim to develop a service that ensures the authenticity of digital documents by applying e-seals using certificates issued by Cybertrust to digital documents generated from WingArc's document platform. [Future Outlook] The companies will integrate WingArc's digital document platform 'SVF' and digital trust-related products with Cybertrust's 'iTrust Remote Signature Service' and 'iTrust e-Seal Certificates' at the infrastructure level to promote the implementation and technical verification of trust service functions. The new service is scheduled to be provided by WingArc in the summer of 2026 as a foundation supporting secure data distribution in the AI era.
