Enjoy the World Cup 2026™ in Seattle! World's First 'Drone Scoreboard' Floating in the Sky

Seattle, Washington – Visit Seattle has announced a new experience, the 'Drone Scoreboard,' to make watching matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ more enjoyable and unique in Seattle.

On nights when World Cup matches are held, spectators can check results just by looking up at the sky. This world-first drone scoreboard, conceived by Visit Seattle, revolutionizes the viewing experience with futuristic presentations. After matches, national flags and scores will be displayed in the sky, adorning the night alongside Seattle's iconic landmark, the Space Needle.

■ Match Schedule in Seattle

Seattle will host six matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ at Lumen Field (called 'Seattle Stadium' during the World Cup). Located in downtown Seattle, the stadium offers convenience within walking distance and an electrifying atmosphere, ready to welcome soccer fans from around the world.

■ Drone Show Lighting Up the Night

On match nights, the world's first drone scoreboard will appear at Seattle Center. Drones will draw the final score and flags of the day in the night sky, creating a fantastic backdrop with the Space Needle.

This show is free for all visitors and will further energize Seattle as a new nighttime event after matches.

*The show will take place on each match night, approximately from 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Pacific Time) after the match ends.

■ City Attractions and Fan Experience During the World Cup

In addition to watching matches, Seattle will offer fan events and spaces throughout the city to celebrate the World Cup. Live viewings, cultural events, music and food festivals will be held at various locations, creating a unique viewing experience.

Seattle is one of the few host cities where the station, stadium, fan zone, and tourist attractions are connected on foot, blending travel convenience, proximity to nature, and urban charm.
