Curves Japan Co., Ltd. (Address: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Takeshi Masumoto), the core operating company of Curves Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & Group CEO: Takeshi Masumoto; Code: 7085, Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market), has conducted a "Food Drive" at its "Curves: 30-Minute Health Fitness for Women Only" and "Men's Curves: 30-Minute Gym with Support, No Reservation Required" locations.
In this 19th iteration of the event, approximately 148 tons of food were collected from about 127,000 members and local residents. By mid-March, coaches from each location personally delivered these items to 769 welfare facilities and organizations nationwide. A "Food Drive" is an activity where people bring unused food from their homes to be donated to local welfare facilities and organizations. Curves has been engaged in this support activity alongside its members and local residents since 2007.
Our company aims to realize a society "free from the anxiety and loneliness of illness and nursing care, and overflowing with the energy to live." As a "community-based health infrastructure," we work to solve health issues in cooperation with government and medical institutions and strive to enrich social capital by leveraging the power of the community. Based on this philosophy, we launched this initiative in 2007, when food drives were not yet common, becoming the first nationwide organization to do so. In recognition of our 18 years of continuous contribution, we were awarded the highest honor, the "Minister of the Environment Award," at the "FY2025 Food Loss Reduction Promotion Awards" hosted by the Ministry of the Environment and the Consumer Affairs Agency in September 2025.
Moving forward, we will continue to work together with local communities to do "what we can do now," something only possible because of the community-rooted nature of Curves.

【From Children's Homes】
- Meals support children's growth, are a daily joy, and are, above all, a major pillar of life. The environment surrounding our facility is harsh, and the healthy upbringing of children is becoming increasingly difficult. While we often lament our lack of resources or feel at a loss, we are truly happy that you have kept us in your thoughts and sent us your compassion and encouragement. We will cherish your kindness and do our best to support the children's growth and independence so that we may live up to your expectations. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. (Hyogo Prefecture, Children's Home)
- Thank you very much for donating so much food. Basic seasonings like oil, sugar, and soy sauce are very useful for preparing meals for growing children. Pancake mix, gelatin, and biscuits are also very helpful as we often use them to make snacks. We will use these items with gratitude while sharing your kindness with the children during our daily meals. Currently, about 20 children from toddlers to high school students live in this home. We try to make mealtimes one of the fun parts of daily life. Food is indispensable in life and is connected to living itself. Through eating, I hope the children will look at their own footing and grow. Support from people like you at Curves, even if we have never met, is a great source of emotional strength, as it makes us realize that there are people who support us in this way. We sincerely thank everyone who cooperated with the Food Drive. (Fukuoka Prefecture, Children's Home)
- Thank you very much for your heartwarming food donation for the children. The children ate the snacks and juice you provided with great delight. We were also able to deliver some to children who have graduated from our facility, and they were very happy. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your warm feelings are a great support to the children. We are also truly grateful that local companies are paying attention to care facilities. We hope that your activities will expand into an even larger circle of support in the future. (Tottori Prefecture, Children's Home)
【From Social Welfare Councils】
- We feel the thoughtfulness and kindness of everyone in every single item donated. Those feelings are surely leading to the peace of mind and smiles of those who need support. The fact that you continue to support us is the greatest encouragement and support for us. We realize that everyone's goodwill is becoming a local strength and that the circle of mutual support is expanding. We hope to continue walking this path together. (Ibaraki Prefecture, Social Welfare Council)
【From Residents of Maternal and Child Living Support Facilities】 (Aichi Prefecture, Maternal and Child Living Support Facility)
- With the ongoing rise in prices, it is a time when not only single-mother households like mine but all families are struggling to make ends meet. Even in such times, your support with food and your warm consideration not only made me feel grateful but also gave me the feeling that I must keep trying. My children and I will gratefully and carefully enjoy the food you provided. Thank you so much.
- Thank you for donating so much food. While I am happy to see my children growing, it costs more money, and I have been feeling anxious about our finances every day. Receiving this assortment of food made me feel a little less anxious, knowing there are people around me who will help, and it gave me the feeling that I have to keep trying. Thank you very much.
- Thank you for the food donation. It was very helpful as I have growing children.
- This is incredibly helpful. We will enjoy it. Thank you very much.
