Two-Man Exhibition 'Hokan' by Kuruma (Reiwa Roman) x Kaga Sho (Kagaya) to be Held from June 5 (Fri) in Myogadani, Tokyo

CURBON Inc. will hold the two-man exhibition 'Hokan' by Kuruma (Reiwa Roman) and Kaga Sho (Kagaya) from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 14, 2026, at encounter gallery (Myogadani, Tokyo).

This project is a collaborative photo exhibition born from the idea of "creating laughter with photographs," transcending the boundaries of comedy duos. Kuruma of Reiwa Roman handled the planning, and Kaga Sho of Kagaya was in charge of photography. Furthermore, both also appear as performers in the works.

The theme is "Hokan" (Complement/Supplement).
The venue will feature a series of works where Kuruma, disguised as a character in white overalls, runs around the city, chased and photographed by Kaga. In addition, images of the two captured by photographer Hirokazu Takei, and Kaga photographing Kuruma, will also be exhibited. The entire exhibition is structured to allow visitors to enjoy not only the works but also the relationship between the two.

In this exhibition, all tickets come with audio content that can be played on a smartphone. Visitors can enjoy a deeper understanding of the meaning of "Hokan" and the works by listening to the commentary by the two while appreciating the exhibition.

*Visitors need to bring their own audio playback devices (smartphones, etc.) and earphones/headphones.

Goods and photo works will be available for sale at the venue. Furthermore, on Sunday, June 14, a gallery tour event will be held where visitors can enjoy the works while listening to a "live" talk by Kuruma and Kaga. This event is limited to 15 people per session, and only those selected by lottery can participate (paid).

Kuruma (Reiwa Roman)

Born in 1994 in Nerima-ku, Tokyo. Met his partner Kemuri Matsui in a comedy club at Keio University and formed a duo. Won the "M-1 Grand Prix" in 2023 as the first performer and achieved an unprecedented consecutive victory in 2024. Gained attention for holding a stand-up comedy live show for 20,000 people at K-Arena Yokohama on May 16, 2026. His publications include "Manzai Kajo Kosatsu," and he is actively involved in individual activities such as opening the YouTube channel "Kuruma no Joshuseki," appearing in "Sekai no Hate ni, Kuruma Oite Kita" (ABEMA), and the movie "Meets the World."

Kaga Sho (Kagaya)

Born in 1993 in Bizen, Okayama Prefecture. Formed the duo Kagaya with his partner Kaya Soya in 2015. Advanced to the finals of "King of Conte" in 2019 and 2022. Has a serialization as a photographer in "TV Guide PERSON" and "ENCOUNTER MAGAZINE." In 2025, he served as the photographer for a photo exhibition commemorating Akina Nakamori's 43rd debut anniversary.

Hirokazu Takei

Photographer / Entrepreneur. Born in Osaka, raised in the US. Started his career in New York, establishing a studio and focusing on fashion and portrait photography. After moving to Tokyo, he founded CURBON Inc., a photographer platform primarily engaged in advertising and production, in 2018. In 2022, he published his first photography book from KADOKAWA. In November 2024, he concurrently assumed the position of president of Heritage Inc., which handles publishing and events. Currently, he continues to work as a photographer and videographer, shooting people and advertisements, while also serving as a business executive.
