National Theatre Live x Saitama Arts Theatre <Best British Stage from a Special Seat> Three selected NTLive works have been decided to be screened at Saitama Arts Theatre.

This screening is a new initiative that allows you to enjoy masterpieces proud of the British theater world at a theater representing the Japanese theater world.

NTLive is filmed live in a theater with an audience, capturing the magic of every moment on stage without fail. Audiences can always feel the passionate performances of the actors up close from the best seats, immerse themselves deeply in the story, and enjoy the magnificent spectacle with Japanese subtitles.

Saitama Arts Theatre will screen three selected works from the NTLive lineup. The three works are 'A Streetcar Named Desire,' starring Gillian Anderson, familiar in Japan from the TV drama 'The X-Files,' and nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award, the highest honor in theater; 'Prima Facie,' starring Rosamund Pike in her long-awaited return to the stage; and 'Hamlet,' played by Laurence Olivier Award-winning actor Hiran Abeysekera. For this screening, a season ticket that can be used for viewing at Saitama Arts Theatre will be specially sold. With the season ticket, you can book all three works at the earliest opportunity.

All of these works have received much praise from those who have seen them. The works of Susie Miller, the author of 'Prima Facie,' are said to be "You can't go back to who you were before you saw it."
