The visual features the cast members peeking out with their own expressions, alongside the "landlord couple" of the apartment, creating a slightly distorted atmosphere.

This play is a dialogue drama set in the shared space of an apartment in the suburbs of Tokyo in the 1970s, centering on the "landlord couple" played by Minosuke and Rie Minemura. In addition to Minosuke and Rie Minemura, the cast includes company members Hiroki Miyake, Mayumi Shintani, Mitsunori Hirokawa, Nozomi Muraoka, Yuji Yoshimasu, Shoron Mizuno, Mana Kozono, and Masahiro Oishi. The guest performers are the highly skilled Toru Noma, Shuko Nemoto, Asaharu Hasegawa, and Hideo Tsuchida.

The Tokyo performances will be held at Shimokitazawa Honda Theater, the company's "home ground," from September 5 (Sat) to September 27 (Sun). The tour will then move to Gifu and Hyogo in October. Ticket sales details for the Tokyo performances have also been released. Advance sales will be conducted sequentially through various ticket vendors! Please take advantage of this opportunity. In the 1970s, an old tenement apartment in the Tokyo downtown area.

Two rooms on the first floor, three rooms on the second floor. All six tatami mats in size.

There is a shared space for residents in a corner of the first-floor corridor, with a communal toilet, communal washbasin, communal washing machine, and communal refrigerator. This apartment was once called the "Abode of Justice" by the townspeople.

I think I'll start writing from stage directions like that. I don't intend to make it a play with a large cast of eccentrics. Nor do I intend to make it a so-called nonsense comedy where a distorted worldview overwhelms the characters.

Ordinary people, who believe they are living very straightforward lives, will find various restraints coming undone without their notice, and they will cross thresholds before they realize it. That's the kind of work I'm aiming for at the moment, but let's see how it turns out.
