Cambridge Technology Partners Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter "Cambridge") will hold a free online seminar titled "[Latest 2026] METI Speaks! What is the Human Resource Development Required in the AI Era? - Key Points of the New Digital Skill Standard Explained -" on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Background of the Event

In an era where DX is a prerequisite, AI is no longer a technology for only some advanced companies but is becoming a foundational support for corporate activities.

However, many companies struggle with defining requirements and designing training for human resources who can not only learn AI operation methods but also lead to results such as business transformation and new business creation.

Therefore, this seminar will focus on the "Digital Skill Standard (DSS) ver2.0" announced by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and IPA on April 16, 2026.

Mr. Yamamoto from METI will explain the key points of the guidelines that materialize the human resource profile for the AI era, including the establishment of a new Data Management category and the review of roles for Business Architects/Designers.

Mr. Sakamaki, our President and Representative Director, who also participates in METI's related task force, will serve as the facilitator, discussing how to integrate these into a company's own skill definition and training system.

【Agenda】

(1) What is the newly required "Data Management Category" in the AI era? (2) What are the three new roles required for the "Business Architect Category" that supports corporate transformation? (3) What is the "Design" capability that all business persons should possess? (4) How should companies respond in the future to survive the AI era?

The main session will be 60 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session to answer specific concerns and questions from the field.
