Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter 'Cambridge') will take the stage for a keynote speech at the 'HR Conference 2026 -Spring-' hosted by Nihon no Jinjibu (Japan HR Department) on May 20, 2026.

In this session, Ryo Sakamaki, CEO of Cambridge, will take the stage alongside Toshiyuki Hirayama from the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA) and Shinya Aono from Aeon Co., Ltd., to hold a three-way discussion on the skills and development methods required for talent supporting DX (Digital Transformation) promotion from their respective perspectives.

## Background and Overview of the Discussion
While the importance of DX is increasing in corporate growth strategies, many companies face challenges such as 'not having personnel capable of promoting DX internally' or 'transformation not progressing on the frontlines even after implementing training.'

Such issues are often attributed to a lack of digital knowledge, but in reality, they stem from a failure to fully recognize the importance of 'talent who can drive transformation (the "X" in DX).'

Even in the Digital Skill Standard (DSS) formulated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and IPA, the ability to consistently drive transformation (the "X" in DX) from goal setting to realization, in addition to the necessary digital knowledge, is clearly defined under the role of a Business Architect. Developing talent who can lead such transformation is extremely crucial in DX promotion.

Therefore, in this lecture, three parties involved in DX talent development from the different perspectives of 'policy,' 'corporate frontlines,' and 'training support' will gather together to discuss the theme 'How to increase the number of personnel who can promote transformation in companies' in a three-way discussion format.

Mr. Hirayama, who was involved in digital talent policy at METI and formulated the DSS, will present the necessity of talent capable of driving transformation in Japanese companies, the background of the shortage, and the efforts required in the future from a policy standpoint.

Based on this, Mr. Aono, who has been responsible for the talent strategy supporting DX within the Aeon Group, will share practical examples of how talent has been defined and integrated into development measures on the corporate frontlines.

Mr. Sakamaki of Cambridge will present the required skill sets as well as the common hurdles faced in the training field and how to overcome them, based on his experience supporting various corporate DX initiatives.

By crossing the three perspectives of policy, corporate frontlines, and training support, they will share practical knowledge to move DX talent development one step forward from a state of 'understanding but not progressing.'
