ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (President and CEO: Tatsushi Shingu, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter: CTC) has signed a partnership agreement with Nexthink S.A. (CEO: Pedro Bados, Headquarters: Lausanne, Switzerland, hereinafter: Nexthink), a leading company in the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) field, to begin providing the DEX management platform 'Nexthink' in Japan.
Nexthink is a SaaS-type platform that visualizes the usability and stress of the IT environment used by employees, supporting early detection and improvement of issues. It quantitatively grasps employee experience, contributing to operational efficiency and the realization of a comfortable workplace environment. Primarily targeting IT departments with support desks across various industries and sectors for large enterprises, CTC aims to achieve 2.6 billion yen in sales over three years, including related business.
With the spread of telework and hybrid work, the business devices, applications, and cloud services used by employees are becoming diverse and complex. Reducing IT stress is crucial for improving employee productivity, and it also leads to reducing the burden on IT departments that handle consultations from employees. On the other hand, in conventional system management, while system operating status can be grasped, visualizing the IT usability issues and stress felt by employees remains a challenge.
Nexthink is a platform that analyzes the status of PCs, applications, and networks in real time to visualize the IT usability issues and stress felt by employees. It supports a wide range of environments, including Windows, Mac, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and mobile.
It automatically collects and analyzes response degradation and error situations during operation on devices, presenting the number of affected employees, the impact on business, and suspected causes on a dashboard. Furthermore, it analyzes signs and causes of problems using AI, supporting employees in solving issues independently, such as through automatic remediation by modifying application settings or restarting. IT departments can address issues before receiving individual inquiries, achieving both rapid problem resolution and a reduction in IT operational load.
CTC provides consistent support from conceptualization to PoV (Proof of Value), design, implementation, and operation/maintenance, accompanying customers with an eye toward optimizing the entire digital workplace (*1). We have already conducted a PoV targeting hundreds of PCs at a major domestic manufacturing company, and we envision streamlining company-wide inquiries and troubleshooting in the future.
Furthermore, by combining the AI PC environment 'Digital Workplace for AI' provided by the CTC Group with Nexthink, we will optimize device performance and settings based on visualized usage status and issues, aiming for efficiency in business and IT operations.
Moving forward, CTC will promote initiatives that achieve both an improved work environment and IT efficiency utilizing Nexthink, contributing to the evolution of corporate work environments through continuous improvement based on visualized data.
