Hatsune Miku's 20th Anniversary Project Costume Design Winner Announced!

Crypton Future Media, Inc. has finalized the costume design that Hatsune Miku will wear for her 20th anniversary project, which culminates on August 31, 2027. The design was selected through a public contest held on the content submission site 'piapro'. Out of 652 diverse entries, the original design by Ashisu was awarded the Grand Prize.

The winning design will be used as the base for the costume worn by Hatsune Miku in the 20th-anniversary project visuals and will also be turned into a 'Nendoroid' action figure, a palm-sized, 2.5-head-tall deformed figure (in collaboration with Good Smile Company, Inc.).

In addition to the Grand Prize, the Good Smile Award and the Crypton Award were also announced. The Good Smile Award went to Shuno, and the Crypton Award went to Yukimoto Ritsu.

This costume design contest is just the prologue to the 20th-anniversary project. Hatsune Miku has served as a hub connecting many creators and as a key/guide to opening doors for diverse creativity. As she approaches this major milestone, we are preparing various future projects to ensure a grand celebration of the creative culture we have nurtured together with everyone.
