The 7th Annual Contest! A Programming Contest Unique to "Magical Mirai"!

"Hatsune Miku 'Magical Mirai'" is an event that combines 3DCG live concerts featuring virtual singers like Hatsune Miku with an exhibition where visitors can experience the joy of creation. Co-hosted by Tokyo Metropolitan Television Broadcasting Corp. and Crypton since 2013, the 2026 event will be held at Act City Hamamatsu (HAMAMATSU) from July 24 (Fri) to 26 (Sun), INTEX Osaka (OSAKA) from August 14 (Fri) to 16 (Sun), and Makuhari Messe (TOKYO) from August 28 (Fri) to 30 (Sun).

The programming contest at this event has been held since 2020 with the goal of allowing participants to experience creative culture through programming. For this 7th edition, we are calling for web applications (lyric apps) that feature compelling visual effects for lyrics and music, based on the six songs that won the Grand Prix and Runner-up prizes in the "Hatsune Miku 'Magical Mirai 2026' Song Contest." You may choose to focus on a single song or create an entry that supports all six.

Public Voting Before Final Judging! This Year's Presentation Held at Both HAMAMATSU and TOKYO Venues!

After the organizers select the finalists, the winning entries will be determined through public voting via the "Hatsune Miku Official Navi (MikuNavi)" app managed and operated by Crypton (https://mikunavi.com/). The finalists will be announced on the contest's special page at 9:00 AM on July 24 (Fri), and the works will also be introduced on the exhibition stage at the Magical Mirai 2026 HAMAMATSU venue during the public voting period. The final results will be announced on the exhibition stage at the TOKYO venue.

The contest's special page provides support information for participants, including reference videos. This is a great opportunity to use your programming skills to join the creative circle, so we look forward to your submissions.
