BamBam, Ethan Bortnick, TEN and Young Miko to appear at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026

K-pop artist BamBam, contemporary musician Ethan Bortnick, K-pop singer and dancer TEN, and Grammy-nominated recording artist Young Miko will appear at the event. On May 23, the pre-show will stream live from 5 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony from 6 p.m. on Crunchyroll’s Twitch, TikTok, YouTube and other channels. Crunchyroll has announced additional presenters for the 10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 ceremony. The newly announced guests are BamBam, a Thai K-pop artist; Ethan Bortnick, a contemporary musician; TEN, a Thai K-pop singer and dancer; and Young Miko, a Grammy-nominated recording artist from Puerto Rico. Anime continues to influence cultures and creators around the world. As seen in previously announced guests including Asuka Saito, Riz Ahmed, Rashmika Mandanna, The Weeknd and Winston Duke, more artists in Japan and overseas are openly identifying as anime fans each year. Newly announced guests: BamBam: A Thai rapper from GOT7, one of K-pop’s leading boy idol groups. Since 2021, he has also been active as a solo artist, showcasing many sides of his artistry, including a bright singing voice that he has fewer chances to display in GOT7’s rap parts. Ethan Bortnick: A contemporary musician, pianist and songwriter who blends classical roots with modern sounds. His breakout singles “cut my fingers off” and “engravings” have surpassed 135 million streams on Spotify. He pursues an artistic vision of bringing classical music into the mainstream through fresh and bold approaches. TEN: A Thai singer and dancer with one of the most distinctive solo careers in K-pop. Young Miko: A Grammy-nominated artist from Puerto Rico and one of the influential artists leading the global music scene. With more than 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 21 million social media followers, she has built a massive global fan base through her genre-crossing sound and commanding presence. About the livestream: The Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 ceremony will be held in Tokyo on Saturday, May 23. The event will consist of two parts: an Orange Carpet pre-show from 5 p.m. and the awards ceremony from 6 p.m. The ceremony will be hosted by Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira. In addition to Crunchyroll’s Twitch, TikTok and YouTube channels, it will also stream live on Sony Group’s YouTube channel. The ceremony will be broadcast globally with simultaneous interpretation in nine languages: English, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian and Latin American Spanish.
