C-Net Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as C-Net, Headquarters: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, President & COO: Mitsuhiko Onozaki) announces the results of its survey on the number of operational centers for its proprietary systems, including cloud-based warehouse management systems (hereinafter referred to as WMS).

According to this survey, C-Net's systems are currently operating in 1,454 centers, an increase of approximately 11.2% from 1,308 centers last year, setting a new record high.

【Overview】

This survey aims to ascertain the actual number of operational sites for C-Net's WMS and other systems, and has been continuously conducted since fiscal year 2012. In recent years, as corporate digitalization progresses, the use of C-Net's systems has rapidly expanded. In particular, C-Net's flagship product, the cloud-based WMS "ci.Himalayas," boasts excellent standard functions and flexible customization capabilities, enabling low-cost and rapid implementation. For this reason, there has been an increase in transitions from old systems and new implementations across a wide range of industries and business types, from large corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises.

【Highlights of Survey Results】

■ Trends in Introduced Services: Stable Growth of Flagship WMS and Expansion of Image/Voice Systems

Cloud WMS steadily increased to 930 centers (approx. 7.1% increase from the previous period).
Furthermore, against the backdrop of growing investment appetite for automation and labor-saving, image systems grew significantly by 25.3% from the previous period, and voice systems by 15%.

This indicates that digitalization at the operational site is progressing from "efficiency improvement" to "operational sophistication," not only in response to labor shortages but also from the perspectives of visualizing work quality and standardizing work to eliminate reliance on specific individuals.

■ Industry-specific Trends: Significant Growth in Distribution/Consumer Goods and Manufacturing

By industry, services (retail, wholesale, food service, etc.) accounted for the majority with 665 centers, followed by transportation/warehousing with 402 centers. On the other hand, the highest growth rate compared to the previous period was in "distribution/consumer goods (consumer goods/food manufacturers, etc.)" with approximately 48.8% increase (128 centers), followed by "manufacturing (electrical/electronics, machinery/heavy industry, etc.)" with approximately 18.3% increase (84 centers), indicating active movement towards logistics systemization among manufacturing-related companies.

■ Trends by Company Size: Penetration Across a Wide Range of Company Sizes

By company size, operations in large corporations (annual sales of 50 billion yen or more) were the most numerous with 644 centers. This was followed by medium-sized enterprises (annual sales of 500 million yen to less than 5 billion yen) with 388 centers, mid-sized companies (annual sales of 5 billion yen to less than 50 billion yen) with 357 centers, and small enterprises (annual sales of less than 500 million yen) with 44 centers.
C-Net's systems are adopted in various logistics sites regardless of company size.

【Future Outlook】

C-Net will strengthen its role as a hub connecting data, operations, and systems in logistics, with its flagship product WMS "ci.Himalayas" at its core.
In recent years, in logistics sites, the importance of "overall optimization" that utilizes data across warehouse operations, material handling, delivery, and even management decisions, is increasing, not limited to the introduction of standalone systems.
In this context, our company will promote the creation of a mechanism that consistently supports everything from on-site improvement to management decision-making, by linking peripheral solutions such as voice, image, analysis, and dispatch, starting from WMS.
Moving forward, based on "problem-solving rooted in the field" and "creating mechanisms that continuously respond to change," we will support the implementation of logistics DX and contribute to the sustainable growth of our customers.
