XR (Cross Reality) is an umbrella term for innovative technologies that merge the physical and digital worlds. It encompasses cutting-edge technologies such as 'VR (Virtual Reality),' 'AR (Augmented Reality),' and 'MR (Mixed Reality),' enabling the creation of new experiences. Beyond the gaming industry, XR has applications in manufacturing, architecture, healthcare, and education. For this seminar series, we welcome Dominique Wu, an expert with extensive practical and research experience in education and XR, to spotlight the future of learning through XR.

The first session will explore how Spatial XR (spatial XR) and AI—rapidly gaining traction in educational settings worldwide—are transforming learning experiences, accelerating skill acquisition, deepening understanding, and improving knowledge retention, all from a practical perspective. The second session will focus on XR learning where AI takes on the role of instructor. Designed to be accessible even to those unfamiliar with XR or AI, the sessions will provide an introductory yet comprehensive overview of education powered by XR and AI. We welcome anyone interested to join.
