Design is not merely about creating visually appealing appearances; it is widely used as a systematic process and methodology to achieve specific goals and objectives. It plays a crucial role across various fields, including product appearance and functionality, advertising, and the usability of websites and apps. For professionals in creative roles—not only graphic and web designers, but also video creators, directors, and marketers—having a foundational understanding of design is essential. In this seminar series, Keiichi Masuda, who manages qualifications and develops educational materials in graphic design, web design, and video production, and also serves as a lecturer at a vocational school, will speak. The series focuses on how to effectively apply design fundamentals, deepening understanding through different themes each time.
The 13th and 14th sessions will explore 'Japanese styles and patterns.' Those interested are encouraged to attend.
