Music Festival Featuring Showa-era Masterpieces with Full Orchestra 'Showa 101st Symphonic Song Festival' to be Held on Saturday, May 30!

Following the success of last June's 'Showa 100th Symphonic Song Festival', which was well-received as a special musical experience woven with Showa-era masterpieces and talk, this new 'Showa 101st Symphonic Song Festival' will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Ota Citizen's Hall Aprico Main Hall.

The stage is a "phantom music bar" that quietly opens only once a year at night. Seiya from Shimofuri Myojo serves as the master managing the bar. He welcomes luxurious artists, who are "regular customers" with a deep love for Showa-era masterpieces. Through talk and music, they will unravel the charm of the Showa era.

The biggest highlight of this event is that all songs will be performed with full orchestral arrangements. Numerous masterpieces that colored that era will be revived on a Reiwa night, adorned with profound and splendid sounds.

Together with symphonic sounds, we will deliver a special感動 (deep emotion) where nostalgia and novelty intersect. Mie and AKB48 (Yuna Akiyama, Sae Arai, Mizuki Yamauchi) will perform together! Pink Lady's masterpiece will be performed with a live orchestra! Furthermore, Seiya will passionately sing "Okan's LINE" and Showa-era masterpieces! A special stage showcasing talk and song!
