Accountant's Magazine Vol. 81 Published, Featuring Yoshiyuki Minegishi, Recipient of the Order of the Rising Sun for Meritorious Service as a Certified Public Accountant

Jasnet Communications Co., Ltd., the accounting-focused subsidiary of Creek & River Co., Ltd., has published 'Accountant's magazine vol. 81,' a human-documentary journal for the accounting industry.

The cover interview for this issue features Mr. Yoshiyuki Minegishi, who has walked the path of a certified public accountant and tax accountant for nearly 50 years.
Aspiring to become a CPA in his second year of high school and naturally considering taking over his father's tax accounting firm, he entered the Faculty of Commerce at Chuo University. At university, he joined the 'Shiunkai' study group, resolved to pass the secondary examination while still a student, and brilliantly succeeded.

In 1975, he joined the audit firm Chuo Audit Corporation, where he gained a wide range of experience. At a young age, he was entrusted with on-site responsibilities and diverse tasks, learning the principles of accounting and the practice of auditing firsthand. Five years later, he took over his father's firm, but faced a difficult start. Overcoming the hardships of a family death and the struggles of establishing the practice, he responded to a diverse range of clients as a local accounting firm, focusing on supporting community-based small and medium-sized enterprises. He always emphasized human connections, valued introductions and relationships, and continued to study and work hard.

In his late 40s, he became the chairman of the Nerima-kai of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which led him to actively serve in various positions within regional chapters and the association, dedicating himself to association affairs and the promotion of SME support. He planned events such as the 'SME Support Convention' to promote the social role of accountants and their contribution to the local economy. In 2023, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, for his meritorious service as a certified public accountant.
