Crassone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, CEO: Teppei Kawaguchi, hereinafter "the Company"), which operates a DX platform for demolition work, has begun a business partnership with Mizushima Shinkin Bank (Main Office: Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, President: Hiroyuki Yokomizo) aimed at solving issues related to vacant and dilapidated buildings in the region. The two companies will promote cross-sector collaboration, from consultation support for "ending one's home life" to creating business opportunities for local contractors and strengthening local governments' vacant home measures.
Background and Objectives of the Business Partnership
In Japan, due to declining birthrates, aging population, and population decrease, the number of dilapidated houses and buildings is increasing, causing various problems in local communities such as disaster prevention, crime prevention, and landscape deterioration. In particular, many cases involve delays in building demolition or utilization due to reasons like inheritance, management burdens, and cost, making it a critical issue for the sustainable development of local communities.
The Company's vision is to "foster a culture of circular regeneration of 'towns'" and it operates "Crassone," a service that matches over 2,400 specialized construction companies nationwide with clients in the demolition work sector, with a cumulative track record of over 170,000 users (*). The Company has also established a system to provide one-stop services tailored to the growing needs of "ending one's home life," including household item disposal before demolition and land sales or utilization after demolition, by partnering with businesses from various industries.
