Kurashelge Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shota Nakajima), which operates simulation services and information media related to living infrastructure such as electricity, gas, and internet lines, and provides support for switching contracts, conducted a "Survey on AI Usage for Comparison and Consideration in Daily Life" targeting 500 men and women aged 20 and over nationwide.
With the rapid spread of generative AI, an increasing number of users are consulting AI for "troublesome comparisons" such as purchasing electricity, communication, insurance, and daily necessities. However, there is almost no quantitative data verifying the accuracy of AI's answers. This survey aimed to clarify how much consumers trust AI, how they act, and how often they encounter incorrect answers from AI.
