Cracierge Co., Ltd. (Head office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shota Nakajima), which operates simulation services and information media related to living infrastructure such as electricity, gas, and internet lines, and provides support for contract switching, conducted a survey on consumer awareness of government electricity bill subsidies targeting 203 men and women aged 20 to 60 nationwide.
Since January 2023, the government has intermittently implemented electricity bill subsidies, including the "Electricity and Gas Price Volatility Mitigation Measures Project," a total of four times over approximately three years, with changes in names and subsidy amounts. This survey aimed to clarify consumers' recognition and understanding of these subsidies, and the actual state of their preparatory actions for after the subsidies end.

**[Survey Results Summary]** Survey Result ①: 68% of people "know" about electricity bill subsidies. However, only 14% of the total correctly understood the subsidy amount. Survey Result ②: 41.8% of people who feel "affected by electricity bills" have "done nothing" for countermeasures. Survey Result ③: The biggest barriers preventing people from reviewing electricity providers are "troublesome procedures" and "not knowing which one suits them." This represents a dual barrier of information and psychology.
