World's Largest! CP+ (Camera & Photo Imaging Show) 2027 Exhibitor Recruitment Briefing to be Held

The Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) will hold CP+2027, the world's largest camera and photo imaging world premiere show, for four days from February 25 (Thursday) to 28 (Sunday), 2027, at Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama City) and online (CP+ official website). In advance of the main event, an "Exhibitor Recruitment Briefing" will be held online (ZOOM) on July 16, 2026 (Thursday) from 2 PM to 3 PM. ◆ Increasing Numbers of Young People, Women, and Overseas Companies! Expanding Audience, Evolving "CP+"

CP+ showcases the latest products and technologies from Japan, the heart of the camera and imaging industry, to the world. Companies and organizations from both Japan and abroad exhibit, attracting a wide range of people, not only professionals and avid fans, but also families enjoying photography and videography.

CP+2026 featured a record 149 companies and organizations exhibiting, with 58,329 visitors (104.5% compared to the previous year). Visitor demographics show an increasing proportion of young people, with those aged 39 and under accounting for about 40% of the total. Furthermore, the proportion of female visitors reached an all-time high of 22.4%. In terms of public relations, information dissemination both domestically and internationally was strengthened by welcoming major overseas media as global partners. There were 45 new exhibitors and 38 overseas exhibitors, both record highs, accelerating the internationalization of the event. With this expansion of the audience, CP+ continues to steadily evolve into a venue that fosters richer encounters and exchanges.

Against the backdrop of the rapid spread of social media and video distribution platforms, the photo and video related market is experiencing a resurgence, incorporating new needs. CP+, which attracts market attention, is an opportunity to widely promote new products and company offerings to the world. Simultaneously, it is highly valued as a venue to directly reach target audiences through booth exhibits and stage programs, and to directly experience user reactions. In fact, a survey of previous attendees revealed that about half of the visitors responded that their "purchase considerations became more concrete." Exhibitor satisfaction was also 99% (total of "very satisfied" and "somewhat satisfied").
