I am very honored to have taken on the important role of vice-captain this year and to have participated in the traditional Fukuoka event, the 'Hakata Dontaku Port Festival.' Although the performance was in the rain, many people waved at us from the roadside and gave us warm words of encouragement, which made me realize firsthand how our company is supported by the local community. A 'Fukuoka Citizen's Festival' where all citizens can participate and feel history, tradition, and culture, held in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture every year on May 3rd and 4th. There are approximately 650 participating Dontaku teams, about 33,000 participants, and about 2 million spectators. It is said to be the biggest festival in Japan during the Golden Week holiday in spring.
