Shinnihonseiyaku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City; Representative Director, President & CEO: Takahiro Goto), in commemoration of the International Day of Forests on March 21, held the 4th 'Keep Our Home Beautiful! Fukuoka Clean-up Operation' together with Avispa Fukuoka Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City; Representative Director & President: Tsutomu Nishino). This event was held in support of 'Fukuoka Green NEXT,' an initiative by Fukuoka City to protect, enjoy, and utilize the forests of Fukuoka as a city.

[Background of Implementation]
Under our purpose of 'Creating smiles every day with "new" beauty and health,' we engage in various social contribution activities to realize a sustainable future society. In recent years, as climate change and global warming have become social issues, the importance of protecting the forests and natural environments that support our lives has gained renewed attention. Therefore, in line with the United Nations' 'International Day of Forests' on March 21, we have held this event since 2023 as a collaboration with Avispa Fukuoka—a team based in Fukuoka for which we serve as a uniform sponsor—as part of their social collaboration project (Sharen) 'FUKUOKA TAKE ACTION!'. This initiative aims to draw attention to environmental issues in our home of Fukuoka and serve as an opportunity to beautify both the stadium and our own hearts through cleaning. This 4th iteration was held on the actual International Day of Forests, providing a valuable opportunity to further raise environmental awareness among participants through cleaning activities.

For the 4th event, participants wore newly designed original work gloves themed around the 'International Day of Forests' to pick up trash around Best Denki Stadium. The original gloves feature a different design for each event, incorporating a collectible element to make participation fun. At the opening ceremony, after remarks by Avispa Fukuoka President Nishino and Shinnihonseiyaku Executive Officer Yasaka, Kyushu Pro-Wrestling's wrestler Sasaki and Avispa Fukuoka's official mascots (Avis, Vii, and Sby) appeared. A total of 190 participants warmed up with squats synchronized to 'trash-picking movements,' energizing the venue. During this clean-up activity, a total of 270 liters of combustible and non-combustible waste were collected, contributing to the beautification of the local environment. Participants commented, 'I participate every year, and as the events continue, I see more familiar faces, making it not just a clean-up but a fun place for interaction,' and 'Through this volunteer clean-up, I felt a real connection with the local community.'
