Credit Saison and Coincheck to Enable Exchange of 'Mienai Points' into Cryptocurrencies

Coincheck operates the cryptocurrency trading service "Coincheck."

This new service enables users to exchange Mienai Points—accumulated through everyday credit card usage—for cryptocurrencies. This initiative will provide approximately 15 million holders of Season Cards issued by Credit Saison, whose points can be converted into Mienai Points, with a new way to utilize their points through cryptocurrency.

Background of the Service Launch

In recent years, interest in new investment methods, including cryptocurrencies, has grown alongside increasing demand for asset building. This service marks the first concrete initiative under the business partnership announced on April 20, 2026, between Credit Saison and Coincheck.

Both companies view the conversion of Mienai Points earned through credit card usage as an opportunity to deliver new customer experiences. Through this service, they aim to provide users with a new avenue to engage with cryptocurrencies through everyday card transactions.
