QUICK Begins Providing Mutual Fund Monthly Report Verification Tool

QUICK Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Motohiro Matsumoto; hereinafter "the Company") will begin offering a trial version of its "Mutual Fund Monthly Report Check Tool (Beta)" to mutual fund distributors and asset management companies starting June 29, 2026. This tool supports the automation and enhancement of verification processes for monthly mutual fund reports (monthly reports).

Background and Objectives

Monthly mutual fund reports are critical disclosure documents for investors. However, the task of accurately creating and reviewing reports for a large number of mutual funds within a short timeframe each month places a significant burden on distributors and asset managers. In particular, manual processes are still heavily relied upon for verifying data consistency, accuracy of market commentary, and identifying changes from the previous month, making human error risk management a key challenge.

To address this issue, the Company has developed a tool (beta version) that combines QUICK's extensive market data and verification algorithms to dramatically streamline the monthly report review process.

Key Features of This Solution

The tool performs report verification from the following three main perspectives:

1 Customizable "Checklist Verification"

Instantly verifies whether entries such as dates, distributor information, and fees comply with standards, based on either the client's proprietary checklist or a standard checklist provided by QUICK.

2 Precise "Month-over-Month Comparison Check"

Compares and analyzes the current month's report with the previous month's. Automatically identifies whether items that should be updated (e.g., net asset value, rate of change) have been correctly revised, and whether items that should remain unchanged (e.g., fund objectives and features) have been preserved, thereby supporting reviewer validation.

3 "Fact-Checking" Using QUICK Data

Cross-references market and index information stated in management commentary against QUICK's news feeds and historical data. Assesses the accuracy of statements such as "the rate of change in X month was Y%" or "declined due to news about Z," supporting the creation of reliable, high-quality reports.

Additional Features and Flexibility

A trial period of the "Mutual Fund Monthly Report Check Tool (Beta)" will be provided via Qr1 to interested distributors and asset managers wishing to participate in evaluation and testing. After the trial, participants will be asked to provide feedback over a period of approximately three months following tool deployment.
