POWERWOLF Confirmed for Day 2 of FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 Powered by WACKEN, Marking Their First Japan Performance

FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 Powered by WACKEN will be held on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25 at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa. POWERWOLF has now been confirmed to perform on Day 2, October 25. Since the festival was announced in early April, it has stirred excitement among metal fans on social media, with comments such as “I’m insanely excited” and “I can’t believe this is happening.” As fans have been waiting for additional artist announcements, POWERWOLF will make their long-awaited first-ever appearance in Japan. POWERWOLF, the German powerhouse known for symphonic, grandiose choruses and dramatic power metal, has dominated Europe and sold out arena-class venues one after another. Their overwhelming live show will finally arrive in Japan for the first time. In 2026, the band released WILDLIVE, a full recording of their tour finale at Munich’s Olympiahalle in Germany, where 15,000 fans packed the venue. Heavy, razor-sharp riffs, soul-stirring choruses built for massive singalongs, and majestic, overwhelming symphonies all fuse into what can only be called “holy metal.” Do not miss the moment they carve a new legend onto the FULL METAL JAPAN stage. The currently announced lineup is MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, STRATOVARIUS, RAGE, and Gus G. & RONNIE ROMERO on October 24; and ANGRA featuring KIKO LOUREIRO & EDU FALASCHI, HIBRIA featuring Iuri Sanson & Renato Osorio, and POWERWOLF on October 25.
