RE:IWAROMAN Yokohama Yoshida-cho Mural Art Project

Yoshida-cho, known as a corridor town connecting Isezakicho and Noge in Yokohama. After the port opened, it gathered daily necessities, and after the Meiji era, it became a hub for used clothing stores. In recent years, it has flourished with individual shops such as restaurants, known as a town of art, music, and cocktails.

In Yoshida-cho, which was named a town early on along with Yokohama Motomachi outside the foreign settlement and where culture and arts such as theater and photography took root, a mural art piece will be created as a form of street art, depicting the passionate figures of Reiwa Roman, as if "changing/burning down past values, established concepts, and conventional wisdom."

Art completion scheduled by: May 14th (Thursday)
