World's Largest Metal Festival "Wacken Open Air" Fully Supports! "FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 ~Powered by WACKEN~" to be Held!!

It has been decided that "FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 ~Powered by WACKEN~" will be held at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa on October 24th (Saturday) and 25th (Sunday).

"FULL METAL" is a metal festival supported by "Wacken Open Air," the world's largest hard rock/heavy metal festival held annually in Germany.

"Wacken Open Air" is held every summer in Wacken, a small village in northern Germany. Starting with approximately 800 attendees in its first year in 1990, it has grown into a globally renowned pilgrimage-like large-scale festival attracting over 80,000 metal fans from around the world. Famous bands such as Iron Maiden, Helloween, and Megadeth have performed there, and many Japanese bands including Sabbat, MUCC, DIR EN GREY, LOUDNESS, and LOVEBITES have also participated.

"FULL METAL" is also a metal festival produced by "Wacken Open Air," and is highly popular as a special event where metal fans can fully enjoy metal in an extraordinary setting, such as "Full Metal Holiday" held on Mallorca Island in Spain and "Full Metal Cruise" touring Europe. This time, "FULL METAL" is making its first landing in Asia. It will be held with all seats reserved, allowing attendees to secure their own seats.

Currently confirmed performers are:

October 24th: MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, STRATOVARIUS, RAGE, Gus G. & RONNIE ROMERO,

October 25th: ANGRA (featuring KIKO LOUREIRO & EDU FALASCHI), HIBRIA (featuring Iuri Sanson & Renato Osorio).

MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, who recently sold out their Budokan performance, will play their best selections. Gus G. & RONNIE ROMERO will perform an Ozzy Osbourne tribute in addition to Rainbow songs.

ANGRA will present a super premium live performance with original members Kiko Loureiro and Edu Falaschi making a limited return just for this festival. HIBRIA will perform early songs with original members including Iuri Sanson making a limited return for this day.

Furthermore, STRATOVARIUS and RAGE are also confirmed to perform. Additional performers will be announced sequentially.
