New Service "Travel and Transportation Expense Settlement Cloud by NAVITIME" Launched to Streamline Reimbursement with Travel Expense Policy Application

Navitime Japan Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Keisuke Onishi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will launch a new service, "Travel and Transportation Expense Settlement Cloud by NAVITIME," in June 2026. This service will enable smooth transportation expense settlements without rejections by linking travel expense policies with the search criteria of "Total Navitime." In anticipation of this, we will begin accepting applications for a先行トライアル (preliminary trial) starting today.

In recent years, while corporate DX has been progressing, in the business of travel and transportation expense settlement, many companies still rely on paper or Excel management. Even when systems are introduced, accounting staff often have to manually check the validity of applications one by one against the company's travel expense policy, which has become a significant burden for administrative departments.

Navitime Japan has developed this service with the idea of eliminating the need for confirmation work by building a system that can automatically calculate optimal routes and transportation costs compliant with policies by linking the route search engine technology of "Total Navitime" with travel expense policies.

■ Main Features of "Travel and Transportation Expense Settlement Cloud by NAVITIME"

1. Capable of calculating routes and transportation costs linked to travel expense policies

By pre-setting travel expense policies, the service presents route search results that consider company policies, such as "cheapest/shortest route" and "availability of limited express trains," at the time of settlement application. Since routes compliant with policies are presented at the application stage, it eliminates the need for accounting staff to reconfirm routes or handle rejections due to discrepancies.

2. Visual and more appropriate route confirmation possible with map integration and "Total Navitime"

Submitted routes can be visually confirmed on a map within the system. This allows for intuitive understanding of whether inefficient detours are included. Furthermore, with "Total Navitime's" door-to-door route search technology, it is possible to compare and consider alternative routes, such as those using different nearest stations, enabling confirmation and judgment of more appropriate routes.

3. Streamlines transportation expense settlement by linking with the "NAVITIME" app*

Routes searched by employees on the "NAVITIME" app before their travel can be seamlessly registered for transportation expense settlement. Additionally, the travel expense policies registered in "Travel and Transportation Expense Settlement Cloud by NAVITIME" can be reflected in the route search criteria of the "NAVITIME" app, allowing travel along routes compliant with the policies. This saves employees the effort of searching and entering routes again during expense settlement, and also saves accounting staff the effort of confirmation and rejections, as routes compliant with policies are submitted in advance.
