NAVITIME Japan Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Keisuke Onishi, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will launch 'Bus Doko by NAVITIME', a new app specializing in bus approach information, starting from Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

This app supports 137 route bus and community bus companies nationwide, allowing users to check real-time approach information, delays, and departure status for each bus stop. It aims to alleviate anxieties such as "When will it arrive?" or "Has it already left?" when using the bus for daily commutes, school, or outings, thereby supporting smoother bus travel.

Previously, NAVITIME Japan has provided comprehensive bus travel functions, including bus route search, timetables, and approach information, through its dedicated bus app 'Bus NAVITIME'. Among these, approach information was frequently used by users, and many requests were received to make this function quickly accessible on its own. This led to the development of this new app, specialized in approach information.

With this app, approach information can be viewed separately for "buses arriving soon" and "buses that have departed." It also allows switching between displays for different bus stops and platforms. Furthermore, a feature is available where, if you select a bus you wish to ride, its latest information is constantly fixed at the bottom of the app screen.

This allows users to intuitively grasp the bus situation, similar to looking at a digital signboard at a station rotary, contributing to preventing missed buses, overshooting stops, and reducing travel anxiety.

Going forward, we will continue to add notification methods for approach information and further expand the number of supported bus companies to support smoother bus travel.

■ Features of 'Bus Doko by NAVITIME'

① Real-time approach information can be checked by platform and bus stop

Displays the bus's current location, delay information, and departure status in real-time.
Even at large bus stops with multiple platforms, you can switch platform numbers to check. If you specify your destination bus stop, only buses heading to your destination will be "highlighted," helping to prevent boarding the wrong bus.

② How many minutes left? Where is it now? Your desired bus at a glance

Using the "Tracking Mode," which constantly displays the latest information of your selected bus at the bottom of the app screen, eliminates the need for scrolling or screen transitions. Combined with the "Running Position" in the list display, you can smoothly check "how many minutes until it arrives" and "where it is currently running."

③ "Favorites" registration possible by scene

Frequently used bus stops and routes (boarding/alighting bus stops) can be registered as "Favorites."
By registering them according to scenes such as "Commute/School," "Outing," or "Hospital," you can smoothly check the necessary information.
