BE FORWARD Contributes to Greenhouse Gas Reduction through MOL's 'Book and Claim' Service for Car Carriers

Lines, Ltd. (hereinafter 'MOL'). [Strengthening Sustainable Mobility Support for Africa and Collaboration with the Shipping Industry] The Company has been awarded a GHG reduction certificate, having been allocated GHG reduction value from the 'BLUE ACTION NET-ZERO ALLIANCE' led by MOL. This certificate evaluates the achievement of contributing to GHG emission reduction in maritime transport by using fossil-derived LNG, a low-carbon fuel, when transporting 1,499 vehicles to African countries between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. This initiative has been verified by ClassNK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai), a third-party organization, ensuring international reliability and transparency. Furthermore, the partnership with MOL is a crucial alliance for realizing environmentally friendly maritime transport. By linking MOL's promotion of LNG-fueled vessels with the Company's transport demand in the African market, we are enhancing the effectiveness of decarbonization in international logistics.
