Working with the Next Generation to Realize a Circular Society Through Clothing: Hirakata Municipal Ogura Elementary School × "World Ecoromo Campaign" - Students Lead Clothing Collection and Workshops
From September 2025 to January 2026, World Co., Ltd. partnered with Hirakata Municipal Ogura Elementary School for a student-led clothing collection drive and upcycling workshop. Fourth-grade students planned and executed the initiative, with all proceeds from the recycled clothing donated to the Hirakata City Central Library's children's book program.

World Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe, President and CEO: Nobuteru Suzuki) collaborated with Hirakata Municipal Ogura Elementary School (Hirakata City, Osaka) from September 2025 to January 2026 on the "World Ecoromo Campaign," a clothing collection activity, and an upcycling workshop, both led by the students.
This initiative was planned and managed by the fourth-grade students of Ogura Elementary School as part of their integrated studies class, themed "Social Contributions We Can Make." The proceeds from the reuse and recycling of the collected clothing will be donated in full to the Hirakata City Central Library's "Project to Deliver Books to Children" to help enrich the local reading environment. Through this collaboration, children learned the importance of resource circulation through fashion and experienced supporting their local community through their own actions.

The fourth-grade students of Ogura Elementary School led the following activities:
(1) Student-led Call for Cooperation and Research Presentation
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Hirakata Municipal Ogura Elementary School
The fourth-grade students (classes 1 and 2) called for cooperation from all students and parents who visited the school for the Saturday open house. They also gave a research presentation on the "World Ecoromo Campaign."
(2) Installation of Clothing Collection BOX
Period: Friday, September 5, 2025, to Friday, January 16, 2026, at Hirakata Municipal Ogura Elementary School
Unwanted clothing from households was collected.
