◆ Background

The company operates a global knowledge platform that matches experienced professionals’ insights with diverse initiatives such as new business development, DX advancement, and overseas expansion. Leveraging a database of over 800,000 experts (as of February 2026), it provides matching services used by companies both in Japan and abroad.

Because clients can access external insights and primary information based on real-world experience in specific industries and functions, the platform is widely used by companies undergoing transformation. To date, it has supported the creation of new ventures for over 2,200 clients. (Case studies: https://visasq.co.jp/case)

Additionally, the company hosts free online seminars inviting “experts in the field” on topics such as new business development and business trends for companies engaged in innovation, providing valuable information to support corporate transformation and innovation.

◆ Seminar Overview

This seminar will feature Mr. Kosuke Itano, Representative Director of Industriate Inc., who possesses extensive expertise in this domain.

Below is an outline of the presentation:

“Physical AI is a buzzword these days—but can we really use it in our company?”
Such concerns are frequently heard from large manufacturing sites:

- PoC (proof of concept) for AI implementation succeeded, but full-scale deployment failed
- Visual inspection AI was introduced, but accuracy didn’t improve and it wasn’t accepted by the production floor
- Outsourcing entirely to external vendors led to project confusion and misalignment
- Forced to select AI systems despite “no one internally who understands it”

No matter how advanced the technology, simply introducing it as a “device”
will not lead to successful adoption on the shop floor.
Compatibility with closed networks and on-premise environments, interface design with existing equipment,
and internal consensus building—without mechanisms to understand these on-site constraints and requirements and translate technology into “on-site value,” true AI implementation cannot be achieved.

In this seminar, we welcome Mr. Kosuke Itano, Representative Director of Industriate Inc.
Mr. Itano began his career at Toyota Motor Corporation as a production technology and image/robot control engineer.

Later, he relocated to California, USA, and worked at AI robotics companies OSARO and RIOS in San Francisco/Silicon Valley, contributing to the development and commercial deployment of picking robots for e-commerce and logistics, as well as AI agents for surveillance cameras.

After returning to Japan in 2025 and founding Industriate Inc., he has supported AI and physical AI implementation projects for major automakers, automotive parts manufacturers, large construction firms, and major telecommunications companies. His work includes visual inspection AI, predictive maintenance AI, on-site support AI using call response data, and conceptual planning and simulation validation for robot and humanoid integration.

What exactly is “physical AI,” represented by humanoids?
Why do so many projects stall at the PoC stage?
How can external experts be leveraged to drive on-site action?—He will speak from the perspective of a practitioner.

◆ What You’ll Learn

- What is “Physical AI”?
— Understanding the fundamental differences from traditional automation from the ground up

- Success and failure factors drawn from case studies at major telecom companies, automakers, and construction firms, both domestically and internationally

- Visual inspection AI, maintenance AI, voice AI, humanoids/VLA
— Key points in verification design and implementation from PoC to full-scale deployment

- Comparing in-house development and full outsourcing to vendors: How to use external experts effectively to move projects forward

- Flexible engagement models: From weekly technical advisors to full support from requirements definition to implementation

◆ Who Should Attend

- Managers in DX promotion, production technology, and quality assurance departments at large manufacturing firms seeking practical starting points for “physical AI” implementation

- Those experiencing roadblocks in moving from PoC to full deployment and wanting to learn from real examples of successful vs. failed companies

- Those struggling with how to work with external vendors and AI specialists, seeking concrete models for making external talent allies
