Timee Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Mine Ogawa), operator of the spot work platform "Timee," has signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Kawachinagano City in Osaka Prefecture (Mayor: Shuhei Nishino), the Kawachinagano Chamber of Commerce (Chairman: Mototsugu Nishio), and the Kawachinagano City Merchant Association (Chairperson: Asako Amakawa).

Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture, is a town rich in natural beauty and historical heritage, home to Kokuhon-ji Temple and Amanosan Kongobu-ji Temple—both with National Treasure designations—and located at the intersection of the "Koya Kaido" route leading to Mount Koya. Despite these cultural assets, the city is among those in Osaka Prefecture experiencing significant population decline. Addressing labor shortages driven by aging demographics and declining birthrates has become a critical challenge for sustaining local economic development.

Under this partnership agreement, the parties aim to promote citizen well-being through social participation and self-fulfillment via flexible employment, while simultaneously helping local businesses overcome staffing shortages and creating diverse employment opportunities. Aligned with Timee's mission to "build infrastructure that expands life possibilities through work," we will actively contribute to solving regional challenges in Kawachinagano City.

Key Initiatives Under the Agreement

Under this agreement, Timee, Kawachinagano City, the Kawachinagano Chamber of Commerce, and the Kawachinagano City Merchant Association will collaborate to provide various forms of support to local businesses and workers.

(1) Supporting local businesses in securing talent and creating employment opportunities

(2) Enhancing citizen well-being by promoting diverse working styles and enabling self-fulfillment through work

(3) Promoting local industry development and sharing information about each partner's initiatives

(4) Other matters necessary to achieve the objectives of this agreement
