Timee, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryo Ogawa), which provides the gig work service "Timee," announces its participation in the "Kumamoto Earthquake 10th Anniversary Project TKB48 Evacuation Shelter Training," organized by Kumamoto City and planned/managed by Shelter One Co., Ltd., from the perspective of human resource securing and on-site verification.
Through this training, we will verify how effective "rapid human resource securing using Timee" and "practical work execution by workers" can be in the setup, operation, and withdrawal of evacuation shelters during emergencies, aiming to strengthen future disaster support systems.
Purpose of Participation in "TKB48 Evacuation Shelter Training" and Timee's Role
The "TKB48 Evacuation Shelter Training" is a practical exercise organized by Kumamoto City, marking 10 years since the Kumamoto Earthquake, with the goal of improving evacuation shelter environments and achieving "zero disaster-related deaths." It aims to realize "TKB48" – ensuring clean Toilets, warm Kitchens, and safe Beds for everyone within 48 hours of a disaster – and trains participants in evacuation shelter setup and operation based on SUM standards (Standardization, Unitization, Mobilization) (※1).
Rapid establishment and operation of evacuation shelters, and subsequent withdrawal operations, require an enormous amount of manpower in a short period. Through our participation in this training, we will verify the potential of Timee as a "human resource infrastructure" that can quickly secure and deploy personnel with necessary skills to the required locations, even in the event of a sudden disaster. Furthermore, by confirming on-site work flows with our workers and Shelter One Co., Ltd., the employer, we will organize "tasks that can be handled by workers matched through Timee" in evacuation shelter operations, and consider further strengthening disaster support systems.
