TENTIAL Signs Basic Agreement (MOU) for Joint Research with Tokyo University of Science's GENTEN Research Center

TENTIAL Inc. (Location: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yutaro Nakanishi, hereinafter "TENTIAL"), which operates the conditioning brand "TENTIAL," aiming to realize a society that is proactive about health, has signed a basic agreement (MOU) for joint research with the "GENTEN Research Center" (Location: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Center Director: Koji Murofushi, Vice President), a new research base established at the National University Corporation Tokyo University of Science (Location: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Naoto Otake, hereinafter "Tokyo University of Science") in April 2026. This marks the first time the GENTEN Research Center has signed an MOU for joint research with a company.

The "GENTEN Research Center," established at Tokyo University of Science in April 2026, is a new research base that aims to enhance human potential and possibilities by returning to the "GENTEN" (origin) of humans and integrating diverse academic fields such as medicine, biology, and engineering. At the center, based on the knowledge of sports science that Center Director Murofushi has pursued, they are not only exploring methods to improve athlete performance and ensure safety but also advancing basic research and social implementation through multifaceted approaches, such as elucidating the mechanisms of sleep and changes in physical abilities under hypoxic conditions.

TENTIAL's mission is to "Create a society that is proactive about health and unlock human potential," aiming to realize a society where individuals can exhibit their potential. To achieve this, they are redesigning all aspects of daily life from a conditioning perspective, making "conditioning" a "daily norm" through products based on scientific evidence and R&D. Their R&D efforts extend beyond product functionality and evidence to include basic research and outcome verification in collaboration with specialized institutions and researchers, as well as conditioning research and guidance for top athletes utilizing expertise in sleep and conditioning.

In this joint research, by combining the advanced academic knowledge and integrated medical-engineering approaches of the GENTEN Research Center with TENTIAL's conditioning perspective and scientific approaches utilizing their accumulated expertise in sleep, they will work to further elucidate the mechanisms related to the expansion of human potential.
