Social Interior Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ken Machino; hereinafter "Social Interior"), guided by the mission "Change the interior world. Change the world with interior.", held its very first entrance ceremony for new graduate employees on April 1, 2026.

In this milestone year, as the company approaches its 10th anniversary in November 2026, four members of the first inaugural class have joined the company, kicking off full-scale organizational development for the next phase of growth.

Background of Starting New Graduate Recruitment in the 10th Year

Until now, during its launch and expansion phases, Social Interior has advanced the recruitment of highly specialized talent through mid-career hiring.

In recent years, the interior design industry has seen significant changes in required values and delivery methods, driven not only by shifts in working and living styles but also by the rise of AI and the advancement of digital transformation (DX). Amidst such environmental changes, our company has also expanded its business domains and elevated the value it provides, making mid-to-long-term organizational building increasingly important.

Given this background, we moved forward with reviewing new graduate recruitment and preparing an onboarding system. Now, at the milestone of our upcoming 10th anniversary in November 2026, we have initiated our first-ever new graduate recruitment.

Moving forward, alongside talent from diverse backgrounds, we will build a stronger and more sustainable organization, evolving toward the realization of our mission.

Details of the Commemorative Gift

To celebrate the new beginning of the members newly joining us, we presented original-design business cards as a commemorative gift.

The business cards feature the specific Social Interior action guideline chosen by each of the first inaugural class members.

Atmosphere on the Day

On the day of the ceremony, all employees attended to welcome the first class. The venue was filled with an atmosphere conveying both the tension of a fresh start and expectations for their future success.

During the ceremony, a message from the CEO and the issuance of appointment letters took place, alongside a program designed to deepen connections, providing an opportunity for all attendees to collectively look toward the company's future.

Furthermore, through the presentation of commemorative gifts and other activities, the event served as a platform to tangibly demonstrate our readiness to welcome the newly joining members.

Congratulations on joining the company. I am extremely delighted to welcome all of you.

Our company will celebrate its 10th anniversary in November 2026, but this is the very first time we are welcoming new graduate employees. First, I would like to express my gratitude to the existing employees whose hard work has grown the company to this point.

Today, I would like to share three points with you.

First is "the value of daring to take the long way around."

Precisely because we live in an era that emphasizes efficiency, the experience of deliberately choosing the difficult path and thinking things through in your own way will translate into future value.

Second is "working as a professional."

From today, you are in a position where you work in exchange for compensation. Please think about how you can demonstrate value and take proactive action.

Third is my desire for you to "make the most of this environment."

As the first class of new graduates, you are in a highly fortunate timing. While not everything is perfectly established, there is an environment where senior employees will generously support you, allowing you to grow together. Furthermore, we are in an era where you can leverage technology, including AI. I hope you perceive this environment positively, ask questions of your own accord, and connect it to your growth.
