Resilire Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yudai Tsuda) is pleased to announce its participation as a general member in the 'JEITA Digital Ecosystem Committee,' established on June 1, 2026, by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA; Chairman: Hiroshi Urushizaki, Representative Executive Officer, President & CEO of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation).
In the manufacturing industry, particularly electronics, supply chains spanning from parts and materials procurement to product shipment are multi-layered and wide-ranging. Data collaboration between companies and industries is a prerequisite for robust supply chain operations.
In recent years, risks such as large-scale natural disasters, geopolitical risks, cyberattacks, and parts shortages have become frequent and complex. The importance of quickly and accurately understanding 'which suppliers are affected and to what extent' during emergencies has never been higher. To address these challenges, it is essential to go beyond individual company efforts and establish an industry-wide data collaboration platform—an 'industrial data space.'
The JEITA Digital Ecosystem Committee was established as a framework to promote cross-industry data collaboration through the construction of internationally interoperable industrial data spaces. It collaborates with the Japanese government's 'Ouranos Ecosystem' and the 'Digital Ecosystem Public-Private Council,' launched in June 2025. Leading electronics industry companies and organizations, including Hitachi, Sony, Fujitsu, NEC, Mitsubishi Electric, Murata Manufacturing, TDK, Omron, Seiko Epson, and Sharp, are participating.
As a specialist in supply chain risk management, Resilire aims to provide the following value through its participation:
1. Providing Implementation Expertise in Supply Chain Data Linkage Resilire has accumulated expertise in collecting, visualizing, and detecting risks in multi-tier supplier networks, including beyond first-tier suppliers. In building the industrial data space, it will share implementation challenges from the specific use case of 'supply chain visualization' and contribute to the horizontal deployment of know-how.
2. Contributing to Advanced Risk Management in the Electronics Industry The electronics industry has a complex supply structure where semiconductor, electronic component, and finished product manufacturers are closely interconnected. By enabling digital linkage of supplier information through the industrial data space, Resilire's service will enable more multi-layered and wide-ranging risk analysis, dramatically improving the manufacturing industry's emergency response capabilities.
3. Promoting Traceability and Economic Security Compliance Regulatory requirements demanding supply chain transparency, such as Japan's Economic Security Promotion Act and the EU's Digital Product Passport (DPP), are strengthening both domestically and internationally. Through collaboration with the industrial data space, Resilire will support ensuring multi-layered traceability of procurement sources, contributing to maintaining the international competitiveness of Japanese manufacturing.
◾️Comment from Yudai Tsuda, CEO of Resilire Inc. 'The fundamental challenge in manufacturing supply chains is whether the complex, intertwined reality of the supply chain can be accurately understood and monitored during normal times. Attempting to gather information after an emergency occurs is often too late.
The industrial data space that the JEITA Digital Ecosystem Committee aims to create is precisely the social infrastructure needed to solve this problem. By establishing a system where data can be safely exchanged across corporate and industry boundaries, supply chain visualization will evolve from individual company efforts to a common industry-wide foundation. We will bring the risk management implementation expertise we have cultivated in the manufacturing industry and lead the social implementation of the industrial data space from the perspective of practical use cases. Together with our colleagues in the manufacturing industry, including electronics, we will work towards realizing a society where invisible risks are eliminated.'
