Renet Japan Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and Representative Director: Takeshi Kuroda) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, RJ Social Care Group Co., Ltd., which oversees the social care business, will change its name to RJ Social Care & HR Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Koichi Tanaka, hereinafter referred to as the intermediate holding company) effective July 1, 2026.
The intermediate holding company will newly bring overseas HR (human resource dispatch) business companies under its umbrella in addition to existing social care business companies, transitioning to a new business structure that strengthens collaboration between the social care business and the overseas HR business.
Background and Objectives
The social care business handled by each subsidiary company under the intermediate holding company has supported the independence of individuals by operating group homes for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions. We have also strived to alleviate the burden on aging parents, as symbolized by the social issue known as the "8050 problem."
Meanwhile, in Japan, with the advancement of the declining birthrate and aging population, the shortage of personnel in the care and welfare fields is becoming increasingly serious year by year. Through this organizational restructuring, we aim to secure the necessary personnel for facility expansion by creating synergy between group home operations in the social care business and the dispatch of care workers in the overseas HR business. Under this structure, we will focus on businesses centered on directly managed operations of group homes for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities (daytime service support type shared living assistance).
Renet Japan Group is developing its business with the "Reuse/Recycle Segment" and the "Social Care Segment (Social Care Business/Overseas HR Business)" as two driving forces for growth. This organizational restructuring is part of an initiative to further grow the Social Care Segment and enhance its social value, and we will achieve sustainable growth by strengthening our business foundation.
Organizational Overview of the Social Care Segment
HR business company "Renet Japan Global HR Co., Ltd." will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the intermediate holding company to be newly established on July 1, in line with this organizational restructuring. By dispatching care workers who have completed practical and technical training overseas, including in Indonesia, to the social care business companies, we will achieve both personnel supply and career support for care workers.
Future Outlook
In the future, Renet Japan Group's social care business will not only provide housing where people with disabilities can live with peace of mind, but will also leverage the knowledge gained from the reuse and recycling business cultivated by the group over many years to create employment opportunities that lead to income and fulfillment.
Furthermore, through collaboration with the overseas HR business, we will promote the resolution of labor shortages in the care and welfare fields and create an environment where foreign workers can thrive with confidence. We will challenge ourselves to create new value that connects people with disabilities, the supporting care workers, and the local community.
