The event will take place over five days from April 29 (Wed/Holiday) to May 3 (Sun/Holiday), 2026. Participants can join anytime, from anywhere in the world. ## What is 'Piri-Cup'? 'Piri-Cup' is an online litter cleanup tournament held annually around the 'Litter Day' on May 3 on the litter cleanup SNS 'Pirika'. Based on the aggregated results, such as the amount of litter collected, we also prepare original goods and other prizes for top performers. An offline event is also scheduled to be held in Tokyo on April 29 (Wed/Holiday). The theme for Piri-Cup 2026 is 'Accumulating Virtue'. —'Accumulating Virtue' means to gradually do good deeds that benefit someone or society.— In fact, picking up litter might be one of those actions of 'accumulating virtue' that cleans up the city and makes someone feel good. In this year's Piri-Cup, we will visualize each of these 'virtues' posted on SNS Pirika with everyone. On the special website, the 'Virtue Tower' grows by 1cm for every piece of litter picked up! On the final day of the event, a 'Virtue Tower' reflecting the achievements of all participants will appear.
